QBCC is enforcing waterproofing of external decks and has issued a reminder that waterproofing is to comply with AS4654 Waterproofing membranes for external above-ground use.

The standard provides the requirements for the design and installation of external waterproofing membrane systems to prevent water leakage into buildings.
