The Australian Building Codes Board have recently released an Accessible Housing Options Paper for consultation.

The Options Paper contains three options for inclusion for accessible housing:

• Option 1: Silver level from the Liveable Housing Australia Guideline, excluding the element of a step free entrance from street to front door (5 elements);
• Option 2: LHA Silver level (7 elements);
• Option 3: LHA Gold Level (12 elements).
