A reminder regarding the pool fence shown here is a non-compliant pool fence.
The QBCC has recently advised that these panels do not comply with section 2.3.7 of AS1926.1-2007 as the gaps between the vertical members at the top of the fence are greater than 100mm.
Additionally, even where gaps between horizontal members do not exceed 100mm and the section is not within the non-climbable zone, these panels cannot form part of an effective pool safety barrier.
