The Professional Certification Group has been advised that Gold Coast City Council town planning assessments are currently running behind schedule. The GIA process for boundary setback relaxations which usually takes 4 weeks (20 business days), is currently taking at least 6 weeks. Whilst Council expects the current delays to be short-term, please be mindful of the new timeframes when lodging applications.
