The NCC 2019 has called-up AS4200.2:2017 Pliable building membranes and underlays (installation) for the first time.

The standard provides the requirements for how wall wraps are to be installed.

For window and door openings, the standard requires the wall wrap to be cut and dressed into all sides of the opening/s. This can be achieved by cutting the wrap diagonally from each internal window/door corner, then folding the wrap back into the window/door reveal and taping in place.

Installation in accordance with AS4200 will ensure that a frame certificate can be issued for the stage.
