The much-anticipated National Construction Code (NCC) 2025 has yet to be finalised by the Australian Building Codes Board (ABCB), raising concerns about when it will officially take effect. Historically, each new edition of the NCC commences on May 1st of its publication year. However, the release date for NCC 2025 remains unknown.
The NCC 2022 version will continue to apply until the ABCB confirms the 2025 version, and the commencement date is confirmed by the State Governments.
We are closely monitoring the release of the final version of NCC 2025 and will provide updates as soon as new information becomes available.
Stay informed by checking the ABCB website and subscribing to industry alerts.
