Gold Coast City Council has a new procedure for building near stormwater (BOSW) applications, which requires the lodgement of

» the engineer’s foundation design;
» CCTV survey video; and
» written report at pre & post construction stages.

A bond of $5000 minimum is also required, refundable on satisfactory completion of works.

Council is not charging a fee for BOSW applications at this stage.
