Please be aware that town planning approvals issued by the Brisbane City Council may require an Erosion and Sediment Control Plan be prepared and relevant Certificates issued by a RPEQ. Council is randomly auditing these when undertaking plumbing inspections, and may issue a Show Cause Notice and/or a fine if the required Plan and Certificates are not completed. This is in addition to the requirements and penalties under the Environmental Protection Act to prevent soil erosion from a building site.
